Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Greetings! website and the purchase of any products from it. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
2. Who we are
Greetings! is run by a trading partnership. Our address for all purposes, including service of documents, is Unit 4 140-144 South Coast Road, Peacehaven BN10 8ER, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is GB857549474.
You can contact us at hello@greetingsonline.co.uk or 07414776536.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and let us know if any of it changes. You may sign in using email, Google, or Facebook.
4. Orders and our contract with you
When you place an order and pay, you are making an offer to buy. Our contract with you is formed when we email you an order confirmation. If we cannot accept your order (for example, because an item is out of stock), we will tell you and you will not be charged, or we will refund you in full.
We make every effort to ensure prices and product details are correct, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel. All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
5. Payment
Payment is taken securely at checkout via Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Payment is taken when you place your order.
6. Delivery and collection
Delivery options, charges, and timescales are set out on our Delivery & Returns page. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver your order within 30 days. The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or you collect them from our shop.
7. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days, starting the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods — whether they are delivered or collected from our shop. If your order arrives in several deliveries, the period runs from the day after the last item arrives.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end — email hello@greetingsonline.co.uk, call 07414776536, or use the contact form. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
You must return the goods to us (or bring them to our shop) within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you pay the cost of returning them.
We will refund the price you paid, including the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or evidence that you have sent them, if sooner), using the same payment method. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we only refund the standard delivery cost. We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by you handling them more than was necessary to inspect them, as you would in a shop.
The right to cancel does not apply to perishable goods, or to sealed goods that are unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons.

8. Faulty or incorrect goods
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us. Within 30 days of receiving them you can reject them for a full refund; after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a refund. We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty goods. These rights are in addition to your right to cancel.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, and product designs — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without our permission.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time you placed your order. We only supply products for domestic and private use.
12. Complaints
If you have a problem, please contact us first at hello@greetingsonline.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it quickly. If we cannot, Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) can give you free advice about your rights.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those in force when you placed it. The latest version will always be available on this page with the date it was last updated.
